Scott Thorson was the longtime companion of celebrity entertainer Liberace, whom he met as a teenager. Originally published in 1988, Thorson’s book, “Behind the Candelabra: My Life With Liberace,” is being updated and reissued in print, ebook, and audiobook editions by Tantor Media. An HBO movie based on the book, directed by Steven Soderbergh and starring Michael Douglas as Liberace and Matt Damon as Scott Thorson, is set to release in May.
